What's it like being a Happy Yogi student?

"I started yoga with Tina over two years ago on a recommendation from two separate doctors as a way to manage the worst effects of the menopause. Even though I thought yoga wasn't for me, I felt I must at least give it a go. I'm pleased to say how right those doctors were! My flexibility, strength, balance and overall fitness has greatly improved, and the unpleasant symptoms of the menopause have calmed into insignificance. And on top of that I have lost weight too!

I have been attending Tina's classes on a regular weekly basis for over two years and find the sessions fun and friendly, and the hour certainly goes very quickly. I always come away with a good feeling both physically and mentally. Tina is good at giving precise and informative instructions on manoeuvres and breathing, and takes into consideration each persons ability. I would like to pass on the recommendation I was given to anyone who feels they may benefit from yoga for whatever reason, because it certainly works for me."

"Tina the Happy Yogi has shared her love of yoga with me for the last 9 months. I thoroughly look forward to weekly classes: taught in a relaxed setting with a gently mindful approach. Tina's practice always leave me feeling de-stressed after a busy working day. I would recommend to anyone looking to relax with the added benefits of stretching to the body."

"Being an active runner and football referee, the benefits of yoga are two fold; firstly I find the poses mirror the activities and help prepare and maintain the body for those stresses, and, secondly, they help in warm down to lessen any potential injuries. I have certainly noticed a marked change in my flexibility, fully recommended."

"I have been going to weekly yoga classes with Tina for nearly a year now. After a stressful and busy day at work yoga is a great way to relax and unwind. I generally feel more healthy and find it easier to relax since doing yoga. I thoroughly enjoy each class and look forward to
continuing to attend.

"I was completely new to yoga but had heard of the many benefits. I did a taster session with Tina at a summer fete and was hooked! Tina provides a welcoming, relaxed and fun environment for both beginners and for those with more experience.

"Since starting it's helped with sleep, fitness and with providing a general sense of well being. Yoga after a stressful day is highly recommended!"

"I have been going to the Happy Yogi yoga classes for over a year now and have truly enjoyed the experience. Having an hour to relax and just concentrate on how my body is feeling is great after a busy week. Yoga has also improved my running and I have been injury free for a whole year, which I am convinced is down to Tina and her yoga sessions. I would recommend these classes to everyone as they are great fun."

"It has been about a year now since I started a Yoga class aimed at runners. During the last year I have noticed a marked improvement to my general flexibility, which in turn has improved my running ability. I now incorporate certain relaxation poses at the end of every long training run or race, which I find help reduce recovery time and aches & pains; in fact, I positively look forward to these at the end of every long run!

"Above all, I have noticed that after a Yoga Class is that I have a restful and unbroken nights sleep - thank you

"I thoroughly look forward to my Yoga Class with such a great bunch of people and an even greater teacher. "

"I started yoga with Tina last March as a total beginner and not really knowing what to expect. I did the introduction Course and found it was extremely helpful and beneficial to my running. As a runner I am extremely tight in my hamstrings and calves and I found Yoga to be a godsend after a long run on a Sunday. When the course finished, I carried on and continue to do a weekly class with Tina.

"Yoga is a part of my life now and on the odd occasion I have missed a class I really can tell. I am now able to do and remember the poses and the sequence we do them in and can stretch much deeper. We always finish our classes with a five minute relaxation, which I have come to think of as my time to chill!

"Tina is a fantastic teacher who not only inspires and encourages but explains the stretches and poses and exactly what areas we are working on. She has the ability to make the class fun and her passion for yoga is infectious. I'm now a yogi!! "
